Supervision for burgeoning and established clinicians is an exciting and highly stimulating process. I am well-versed in the process and can offer supervision to those seeking to improve their clinical work and to accrue hours toward credentialing or licensure.
My supervision style is tailored specifically to the needs of the supervisee and their clients, and will always take a developmental approach. Supervision will consist of me taking on roles of “teacher” to help supervisees formulate case conceptualization and learn intervention techniques, “counselor” to help supervisees develop awareness of potential biases and blindspots in therapy, and “consultant” when supervisees want help processing dynamics as colleagues.
My approach will mix direct verbal and written feedback, and will explore the therapeutic relationship for the supervisee in their role as a clinician and as one half of the relationship.
