…and often is for some very important reasons. But while the process of therapy is challenging, it can also be illuminating. It offers us the chance to understand ourselves better, and to live fully within our moment to moment experiences.
Healing and Thriving
Feelings do not cause suffering. Suffering is caused by the anxiety our feelings evoke and by the defenses we employ to manage this anxiety. Feelings strengthen our learning and memories, inspire us to take action, and reveal the meaning and purpose in our lives.
In relationships, we may often feel that closeness or vulnerability lead to pain. Our work will seek to understand this pattern, and to provide a corrective emotional experience. Together, we will help you find peace and agency within your emotional experiences as well as in your relationships with others.
